Physical Therapy Assistant

Background: St. Philip’s College

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, I help patients improve their strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence. I work closely with the physical therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans and make adjustments based on how the patient is responding.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and going on hikes.

Reason to Love Working Here:

What I like most about working here is the opportunity to build relationships with patients and be part of their progress. I enjoy seeing patients improve in their strength, mobility, and confidence over time.

Core Values:

My core values are integrity, compassion, growth, and perseverance. I try to treat people with respect, take responsibility for my actions, and continuously look for ways to improve.

Conditions Iliana Enjoys Treating:

I enjoy treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, especially patients working on improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.

Something patients have to deal with that Iliana wants to fix:

One thing I would like to help address is the mental aspect that patients often experience during recovery. Pain, limited mobility, and loss of independence can affect a patient’s confidence, motivation, and overall outlook. I believe the mind and body are connected, so addressing the mental side of recovery is just as important as addressing the physical side.
